Fine Living (Sometimes calledFine Living Network orFLN) was aEuropean television channel, initially owned and operated byScripps Networks Interactive and later byDiscovery Inc., from 2018 onwards. It broadcast from 1 April 2010 (2010-04-01) to 31 December 2020 (2020-12-31).[1] It featureddocumentaries,reality, andhow-to shows related to home, cooking, travel, lifestyle and health.[2]
The channel was operated byScripps Networks Interactive in a joint venture withChello Zone from the launch[1] till 2018 whenDiscovery, Inc. acquired Scripps Networks Interactive.[3]
Fine Living HD launched in Europe on 1 September 2015.[4]
Fine Living ceased broadcasting in the Netherlands and Flanders on 31 January 2019. Content from former Scripps television channelsTravel Channel, Fine Living andFood Network has been integrated into the programming ofDiscovery,TLC andInvestigation Discovery in the Benelux.[5]
On 31 December 2020, it was announced that the television channel has been dissolved following a bankruptcy proceeding due to accumulated debt of over €30 million, and was replaced by the pan-European version ofHGTV.[6]
