Finch County is one of the 141cadastral divisions of New South Wales. It is bounded by theNarran River in the west, theBarwon River to the south and east, and theQueensland border to the north. It includesLightning Ridge.
Finch County was named in honour of surveyorHeneage Finch, the grandson ofHeneage Finch, 3rd Earl of Aylesford.[1][2][3]
