Filippo Macchi (born 19 September 2001) is an Italianfoilfencer.[1] He won two silver medals—one in the individual competition and one in the team event—at the2024 Olympics.[2]

Biography

Macchi competed in theMen's foil tournament at the2024 Summer Olympics, winning silver in individual play. He also won the silver medal in theteam competition for Italy, which defeated theUnited States in the semifinal before losing toJapan in the gold medal match. This was Italy's first Olympic medal in men's team foil since 2012.
