TheFichtelnaab is a river, 47.5 kilometres long, inUpper Franconia and theUpper Palatinate,Bavaria,Germany. It rises in theFichtel Mountains and flows into theWaldnaab nearWindischeschenbach.
Thesource of theFichtelnaab is located on the southeastern slope of theOchsenkopf (1,024 m above sea level (NN)) northwest ofFichtelberg and west of theFichtelsee (10.5 hectares and 752 m above NN). From there it flows southeast through the villages of Fichtelberg andMehlmeisel in the district ofTirschenreuth. From there theFichtelnaab passes throughBrand,Ebnath,Neusorg andErbendorf toWindischeschenbach, where it joins theWaldnaab.
