Fiamma Benítez Iannuzzi (born 19 June 2004), knownmononymously asFiamma, is a Spanish professionalfootballer who plays as aforward forLiga F clubAtlético Madrid and theSpain women's national team.

Early life

Fiamma was born inDénia to Argentine parents.[5] Her maternal grandfather was Italian.[6]

Club career

Fiamma has played forLevante in Spain. She appeared in the professional2021–22 Primera División for them.[1]

International career

Fiamma waseligible to play forSpain,Italy orArgentina and had shown interest in playing for the latter.[5] Representing the former, she won the2022 UEFA Women's Under-19 Championship and the2022 FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup and made her senior debut on 11 November 2022 as a 56th-minute substitution in a 7–0 friendly home win, coincidentally over Argentina.[7] She becamecap-tied to Spain when she played and scored in aUEFA Women's Nations League victory overSweden in December 2023.
