TheFerrari F80 (Type F250)[3] is a limited productionmid-engine,hybridsports car built by the Italian automobile manufacturerFerrari. Designed and named to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the company, it serves as a successor to theLaFerrari.[4]
The design of the F80 was inspired by theF40, which commemorated Ferrari's 40th anniversary, and theFerrari Daytona SP3. Certain style elements, specifically the black band on the bonnet, were inspired by theFerrari 365 GTB/4 Daytona, similar to theFerrari 12Cilindri.[5][6]
The F80 uses ahybrid powertrain, consisting of a 3.0Ltwin-turbochargedTipo F163 CF 120°V6 petrol engine derived from theFerrari 499P, and three electric motors. The engine produces 900 PS (662 kW; 888 hp), while the electric motors produce 300 PS (221 kW; 296 hp). The resultantspecific output of the 2992cc engine individually is 296 hp/l, achieved in part via 3.7 bar (55.5 psi) of boost from the turbochargers - both figures the highest of any production car to date.[7] Combined, the powerplants produce a total of 1,200 PS (883 kW; 1,184 hp).
The car has a stated top speed of 350 km/h (217 mph). It can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (0 to 62 mph) in 2.15 seconds and from 0 to 200 km/h (0 to 124 mph) in 5.75 seconds.[2] According to Ferrari, the vehicle generates over a ton ofdownforce, producing 1,050 kg at speed. The car holds the fastest lap time for a road-legal Ferrari at the Fiorano test track, completing a lap in 1:15.30.[8]

The Ferrari F80 was revealed on October 17, 2024.
Ferrari states that production will start in 2025 and end in 2027. Only 799 units will be built, all of which have already been reserved by customers, with each priced at approximately US$3.9 million (€3.6 million).[citation needed]
