The native form of thispersonal name isSánta Ferenc. This article usesWestern name order when mentioning individuals.

Ferenc Sánta (September 4, 1927 – June 6, 2008) was aHungariannovelist and filmscreenwriter. He was awarded theJózsef Attila Prize in 1956 and 1964, and the prestigiousKossuth Prize in 1973.[1] He was born inBraṣov and died inBudapest.
