Feni-3 is a constituency of theJatiya Sangsad (National Parliament) ofBangladesh. Since 6 August 2024 the constituency is vacant.

Boundaries

The constituency encompassesDaganbhuiyan andSonagazi upazilas.[2][3]

History

The constituency was created in 1984 from the Noakhali-3 constituency when the former Noakhali District was split into three districts:Feni,Noakhali, andLakshmipur.

Ahead of the2008 general election, theElection Commission redrew constituency boundaries to reflect population changes revealed by the2001 Bangladesh census.[4] The 2008 redistricting altered the boundaries of the constituency.[5]
