FIAS offers internationally recognized (CMAS) diver certifications.[2]
The FIAS obtainedCEN certification from theEUF certification body in 2005 for the following scuba diver grades:[3]

It works alongside ItalianCivil Protection and actively supports environment research and protection projects like theMAC project for the coastalenvironmental monitoring.
