TheFederation of Evangelical Churches in Italy[1] (Italian:Federazione delle Chiese Evangeliche in Italia,FCEI) is an ecumenicalProtestant body inItaly.
The FCEI, formed in 1967,[2] includes the historical Protestant churches of Italy, notably including theUnion of Methodist and Waldensian Churches (aunited denomination comprising theWaldensian Evangelical Church and theMethodist Evangelical Church), theBaptist Evangelical Christian Union of Italy, theLutheran Evangelical Church in Italy, and other minor churches.[3] The FCEI, whose current president is Waldensian pastor Daniele Garrone, has a total membership of 140,000.[4]
