Farsia (Arabic:الفرسية,romanized: al-Farsīyah,Spanish:El Farsìa), is an isolated village inWestern Sahara, situated within theMoroccan-occupied territories. It was occupied by theMoroccan military on October 31, 1975, afterSpanish troops evacuated their post.^[1] The Moroccan forces were later pushed out of Farsia by thePolisario.^[2]
