Fairchild Mountain is ahighmountainsummit in theMummy Range of theRocky Mountains ofNorth America. The 13,508-foot (4,117 m)thirteener is located in theRocky Mountain National Park Wilderness, 9.6 miles (15.5 km) northwest (bearing 311°) of theTown of Estes Park inLarimer County,Colorado,United States.[1][2][3] The mountain was named afterLucius Fairchild, anAmerican Civil War veteran who had served asGovernor of Wisconsin and U.S. Minister toSpain.[5]
