Fabio Ingolitsch (born 10 April 1992) is an Austrianfootball manager and formerplayer who is the head coach ofAustrian Bundesliga clubRheindorf Altach.
Ingolitsch played for various lower-division clubs inSalzburg before ending his playing career at the age of 25.[1]
From 2012 to 2014 he trained youth teams of his local club SK Bischofshofen. In April 2016 he got the UEFA A-license at the age of 24 .With the beginning of the 2017–18 season he became assistance coach toJanusz Góra undGerhard Struber forFC Liefering. He also was assistance coach underBo Svensson. In January 2021Matthias Jaissle became head coach of Liefering and Ingolitsch head coach of the U18 team.[2] In October 2021 he got the UEFA-Pro-license. At the age of 29 he was the youngest Austrian who did so.[3] With the start of the 2022/23 season he came back to Liefering as head coch.[4]
On 27 May 2024, Ingolitsch was announced as the new coach ofFC Zürich's under-21 team.[5] On 9 October 2024, a few months later, he returned to Austria to replaceJoachim Standfest as head coach ofRheindorf Altach, then second-to-last in theAustrian Bundesliga standings.[6] At Rheindorf Altach, he reunited with his brotherSandro Ingolitsch, who was a player for the club.[7]
Ingolitsch is a teacher.[8] He is the older brother ofSandro who plays forRheindorf Altach in theAustrian Bundesliga.[9]
