Fabien Foret (born 29 January 1973 inAngoulême,France) is a professionalmotorcycle racer currently competing in theFIM Endurance World Championship aboard aKawasaki ZX-10R. He has spent most of his career in theSupersport World Championship.
After taking part in theFrench national championships for a number of years, Foret moved to theSupersport World Championship in 2000. That same year, he won the 24 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps, and theBol d'Orendurance races.
In 2001, Foret finished 8th in theSupersport World Championship with two race wins and also finished 2nd at the24 Hours of Le Mans and theBol d'Orendurance races.
Foret won theSupersport World Championship in 2002 forTen Kate Honda, taking four race.
Foret continued racing in theSupersport World Championship from 2003 to 2005, finishing 9th in 2003, 7th in2004 and 4th in 2005 with one race win each season.
Foret moved to theSuperbike World Championship in2006 riding for Alstare Engineering Corona Extra Suzuki. After a poor first half of the season he was replaced byMax Neukirchner.[1] He returned to theSupersport World Championship for the end of the season.
Foret joinedKawasaki Gil Motor Sport for2007 and he finished the season 3rd overall with a single win, atPhilip Island.[2] For2008 he joined the officialYamaha o team managed by formerGrand Prix racerWilco Zeelenberg. He opened the year with pole position atLosail[3] and took a win atMonza[4] and finished fourth or better in each of the first six rounds, but a heavy crash atBrno caused him to miss several races he currently rides for Kawasaki Intermoto With Czech and Welsh technician's.[5]
In 2015, Foret won theBol d'Or with Team Kawasaki SRC.
In 2016, Foret won the 24 Hour Endurance Race in Le Mans with Team Kawasaki SRC.
