Evangelos Rallis (Greek: Ευάγγελος Ράλλης) was a Greektennis player. He competed at the1896 Summer Olympics in Athens.[1]
Rallis defeated fellow GreekDemetrios Petrokokkinos in the first round of thesingles tournament. In the second round, though, he facedJohn Pius Boland ofGreat Britain and Ireland. He lost to the eventualgold medallist.
In thedoubles tournament,Petrokokkinos got his revenge. Rallis, paired withKonstantinos Paspatis, was defeated by the Greek/Egyptian pairing of Petrokokkinos andDionysios Kasdaglis. Rallis and Paspatis finished in a two-way tie for fourth among the five pairs.[2]
