Eulepa (Εύλεπα) was an ancient Greek town inCappadocia, inhabited inHellenistic,Roman andByzantine times.[1]

The archaeological site is located near the village ofPalas—formerly known asGölova for a period—which today belongs to theSarıoğlan district ofKayseri Province.[1][2] The name "Palas" is believed to have evolved from the name of the town mentioned in episcopal lists since the 9th century: Aipolía > Aipolias > Epalas.
