Ethinylestradiol/gestodene (EE/GSD), sold under the brand namesFemodene andMinulet among others, is acombination ofethinylestradiol (EE), anestrogen, andgestodene (GSD), aprogestin, which is used as abirth control pill to preventpregnancy in women.[1][2] It is takenby mouth and contains 20 or 30 μg EE and 0.075 mg GSD pertablet.[1][2] EE/GSD is marketed widely throughout the world.[3]
