Estradiol dibenzoate (EDB), also known asestradiol 3,17β-dibenzoate, is anestrogen ester which was developed in the 1930s and was never marketed.[1][2][3][4][5][6][7] It is the C3 and C17βbenzoatediester ofestradiol.[1] Estradiol dibenzoate has a longerduration of action thanestradiol benzoate (estradiol 3-benzoate) bydepot injection.[2][3][4][5][6][7]
