Eryn Allen Kane is an Americanrhythm and blues musician fromDetroit,Michigan who has become a frequent collaborator in theChicago Music scene.[1] Kane released her first EP,Aviary: Act 1, in 2015.[2][3] In 2016, Kane released her second EP titledAviary: Act II.[4][5][6] Kane was also featured onChance the Rapper's albumColoring Book as well as the soundtrack ofSpike Lee's filmChi-Raq.[7] Kane released her third EP in 2019 titledA Tree Planted by Water.[8]

Kane won theGrammy Award for Best Rap Performance in 2024 for her collaboration withKiller Mike,André 3000, andFuture, titled "Scientists & Engineers".
