Erik Thomas Sullivan (born August 9, 1972) is an American formervolleyball player and two-time Olympian. He played for theUnited States men's national volleyball team at the2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney and2004 Summer Olympics in Athens.[1]
AtUCLA, Sullivan helped his team win two national titles, in 1993[2] and 1995, and was an All-American in 1992.[3] In 1995, as a senior, he captained the team to a 31–1 record.[3] In 2023, he was inducted into theUCLA Athletics Hall of Fame.[3]
Sullivan spent 14 years coaching underJerritt Elliott atTexas after stints atNebraska andColorado.[4]
On January 6, 2025 Sullivan was named head coach for theUnited States women's national volleyball team after serving various assistant and consulting roles with the team.[5]
