Eric Arthur Morris (born 30 September 1951) is aScottish former professional footballer who mainly played forAyr United.

Morris began his career withMuirkirk and had a trial withHamilton Academical in 1968. In 1972–73, he had a season withIrvine Meadow, when the club reached the final of theScottish Junior Cup versusCambuslang Rangers and eventually won the trophy after two replays. Morris scored one goal in the final that ended 2–2, then two goals in the first replay that finished 3–3.[3] Irvine Meadow won the second replay 1–0, with Morris' performances alerting the attention ofRangers, who signed him in the 1973 close season.

Morris debuted for theGovan club in aScottish League Cup match versusArbroath in August 1973, then rarely featured in the first-team over his six-year spell atIbrox. Morris' only goal for Rangers was in aScottish Cup match versusQueen's Park in January 1974. Morris then moved ontoAyr United in 1979.[4] After over 200 appearances atSomerset Park, Morris returned toJunior football withCumnock Juniors.
