Eric Patrick Moore (born January 28, 1965) is an American former professionalfootball player who was aguard in theNational Football League (NFL) for theNew York Giants (1988–1993), theCincinnati Bengals (1994), theCleveland Browns (1995) and theMiami Dolphins (1995). Moore was selected in the first round (tenth overall) of the1988 NFL draft.[1] He was a starter for the Giants in theirSuper Bowl XXV triumph.
In 1993, Moore was sentenced to a six-month pretrial diversion program forsteroid possession along with formerNew York Giants teammateMark Duckens. They were described by federal agents as "pawns in international steroid ring."[2] Moore was also suspended for the first four weeks of the1993 NFL season.[3]
Moore lived in the Wolf Creek subdivision inMacon, Georgia for a while and his nickname in college was "PK".[4]
