Evren Eren Elmalı (born 7 July 2000) is a Turkish professionalfootballer who plays as aleft-back forSüper Lig clubGalatasaray and theTurkey national team.
Elmalı is a youth product ofKartalspor andKasımpaşa, signing his first professional contract with the latter in 2019.
He began his senior career on loan withSilivrispor in theTFF First League for the 2019-20 season.[1]
He returned to Kasımpaşa for the 2020-21 season. He made his professional debut with Kasımpaşa in a 2-1Süper Lig win overAlanyaspor on 11 January 2021.[2]
On 17 July 2022, Elmalı transferred toTrabzonspor on a 3-year contract.[3]
On 11 February 2025, he signed a three-and-a-half-year contract withGalatasaray.[4]
On 13 November 2025, Elmalı was banned from playing for 45 days for his involvement in the2025 Turkish football betting scandal.[5]
Elmalı was called up to the seniorTurkey national team forUEFA Nations League matches in June 2022.[6]

As part of an investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office and known to the public as the “Football Betting Investigations,”[7] Due to his involvement, Elmalı was removed fromTürkiye's squad.[8][9]
Elmalı, admitted to betting on a game about five years ago that did not involve his own team.[10] On 13 November, PFDK imposed bans Eren Elmalı for 45 days.[11][12]
