TheErasmus Commission was an investigative commission set up by formerANCWestern CapePremierEbrahim Rasool to investigate claims that theDemocratic Alliance, led byCape TownMayorHelen Zille, had improperly used public funds to engage in espionage against the DA's opponents. It was headed by JudgeNathan Erasmus. It was stopped when theCape High Court declared it to be unconstitutional.[1]
