TheEpiscopal Diocese of Western Oregon is a diocese of theEpiscopal Church which consists of the western portion of the State ofOregon bordered by thePacific Ocean, theColumbia River, theCascade Range and the Oregon–California state line. Major cities in the diocese arePortland,Salem,Eugene andMedford. The diocese is a part of Province VIII of the Episcopal Church.

The seat of the diocese isTrinity Episcopal Cathedral, Portland, Oregon.

Michael Joseph Hanley was elected tenth bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Oregon at the diocese's annual convention on November 30, 2009.[3] He was ordained to the episcopate and installed on April 10, 2010.[4]

Diana Akiyama was elected eleventh bishop of the diocese on August 28, 2020.[5][6] She was consecrated on January 30, 2021, at theTrinity Episcopal Cathedral, Portland, Oregon.[7] She is the first Japanese-American woman to be ordained a bishop in The Episcopal Church.

In 2024, the diocese reported average Sunday attendance (ASA) of 3,880 persons.[8] It reported plate and pledge financial support of $12,609,146 for 2024.[9]
