Enzo Couacaud (French pronunciation:[ɛnzokwako];[1] born 1 March 1995) is a French[2] former professionaltennis player. He has a career high singlesranking of world No. 151, which he achieved on 17 July 2023 and a doubles ranking of world No. 188 achieved on 8 March 2021.
Couacaud received a wildcard to enter the doubles main draw in the2015 French Open with doubles partnerQuentin Halys, losing in the first round.
He competed in the2015 Wimbledon singles qualifying event, losing toJohn Millman in the third qualifying round.
Couacaud won his maidenChallenger title inCassis, France, defeatingUgo Humbert in the final.
Couacaud made his Grand Slam singles main draw debut at the2021 French Open as a wildcard where he defeatedEgor Gerasimov to reach the second round.[3]
In May, Couacaud was awarded a wildcard into the main draw of the2022 French Open in doubles partneringManuel Guinard where they defeatedHans Hach Verdugo andPhilipp Oswald.
He qualified for the2022 Wimbledon Championships making his debut at this Major.[4] He also qualified for the next Major making his debut at theUS Open.[5]
In January, Couacaud qualified for the2023 Australian Open making his debut at this Major.[6] He reached the second round, where he took a set off eventual championNovak Djokovic but lost in four sets.[7]
In May, Couacaud was awarded a wildcard into the main draw of the2023 French Open in doubles partneringArthur Rinderknech.
Couacaud qualified forWimbledon for the second year in a row, losing in the first round toJ. J. Wolf.[8] He then qualified for theUS Open, also for the second year in a row.[9] Couacaud lost toJiri Vesely in the first round of the main draw.[10]
In January, Couacaud reached the final inNouméa New Caledonia, his firstChallenger final in two years but lost in the final to fellow countrymanArthur Cazaux.[11] In March, he reached anotherChallenger final inSão Léopoldo, Brazil, losing toAdolfo Daniel Vallejo in the final.[12] The following week, he won the title inFlorianópolis, Brazil, defeatingJoao Lucas Reis Da Silva in the final. This represented his firstChallenger title in three years.[13]
Couacaud announced his retirement from professional tennis on 7 October 2025.[14]
