UK ice hockey league

TheEnglish National League was an earlyice hockey league inEngland. It was founded in 1935 by most of the teams who had previously competed in theEnglish League. It was suspended during theSecond World War, but returned in 1946. In 1954 the league merged with theScottish National League to form theBritish National League.
