Emily Magee (born October 31, 1965) is an Americanoperaticsoprano.

Born in New York City, Magee studied music atWestminster Choir College, from which she graduated in 1987.[1] She continued her studies at theJacobs School of Music ofIndiana University Bloomington, where her teachers includedMargaret Harshaw.

In 1995, Magee made her operatic debut at theLyric Opera of Chicago, singing the role of Fiordiligi in Mozart'sCosì fan tutte. Her international debut came in 1996 at theBerlin State Opera, under the direction ofDaniel Barenboim. Magee's selected recordings, on CD and DVD, include:

Magee and her husband, who is also her agent, live in Boulder, Colorado, United States.[4]
