Ellen Dubin is aCanadian actress.[1] She is best known for her part in the television mini-seriesLexx, playing the role ofGiggerota.[2][3]
From 2004 to 2006, Dubin starred in the TV seriesThe Collector[4] as Jeri Slate. She was nominated for aGemini Award for this role.[5] She also played a guest appearance role inGene Roddenberry'sEarth: Final Conflict[3] as well as a number of other series. In 2006 Dubin appeared in the TV movieThe Wives He Forgot[6] withMolly Ringwald andMark Humphrey. In 2004 she appeared inNapoleon Dynamite.[7]
Dubin is the spokesperson for theMake-a-Wish Foundation[6] in Toronto and Central Ontario.[8] She was married to Canadian media executiveJay Switzer from 1988[9] until his death in 2018.[10]
