Elephant Island is an uninhabited island inSanma Province ofVanuatu in the Pacific Ocean.[2] Anotherisland off the coast ofAntarctica in the outer reaches of theSouth Shetland Islands, in theSouthern Ocean, shares the same name.
It is located in Turtle Bay off the east coast ofEspiritu Santo Island.[3][4][5][6]
