Elek Imredy (April 13, 1912 – October 12, 1994) was aHungarian sculptor who emigrated toVancouver, British Columbia, Canada in 1957. His most notable work isGirl in a Wetsuit, which is located inStanley Park.[1]

Imredy worked for therailroad in Hungary and studied there with sculptorsSándor Boldogfai Farkas andBéla Ohmann as well as paintersIstván Szőnyi andVilmos Aba Novák.
