Yass was anelectoral district of theLegislative Assembly in theAustralian state ofNew South Wales between 1894 and 1920. It included the town ofYass. It largely replaced theelectoral district of Yass Plains. In 1920, with the introduction ofproportional representation, it was absorbed along withBurrangong intoCootamundra. It was recreated in 1930 and replaced byBurrinjuck in 1950.[1][2][3]
