Wammerawa was anelectoral district for theLegislative Assembly in theAustralian State ofNew South Wales, created in 1920, with the introduction ofproportional representation and named after an alternative name for theMacquarie River. It mainly replacedMudgee,Castlereagh andLiverpool Plains and elected three members simultaneously. In 1927, it was split into Mudgee, Castlereagh and Liverpool Plains.[1][2][3]
