El Bayadh (Arabic:البيض) is amunicipality ofAlgeria. It is the capital ofEl Bayadh Province.
This town was known asGéryville during theFrench colonization of Algeria.
TheKsour Range is amountainous area extending betweenFiguig and El Bayadh.[2] The record of 51.3 °C degrees, which was on 2 September 1979, is disputed.
