Eivind Henriksen (born 14 September 1990) is a Norwegianathlete competing inhammer throw. He is a three-timeOlympian and won the silver medal in themen's hammer throw event at the2020 Summer Olympics. Henriksen is also aWorld Championships andEuropean Championships bronze medalist, and a thirteen-timeNorwegian champion in hammer throw.[1]
Henriksen made his Olympic debut at the2012 Summer Olympics inLondon.[2][3] He placed fifth at the2018 European Championships and sixth at the2019 World Championships. Henriksen won the silver medal in themen's hammer throw event at the2020 Summer Olympics inTokyo, while also setting a newNorwegian record in the event at 81.58 metres.[2][4]
Henriksen won bronze medals in the hammer throw events at the2022 World Championships and the2022 European Championships.[5] He competed in themen's hammer throw event at the2024 Summer Olympics inParis, placing fourth in the event.[6]
In September 2025 he qualified for the hammer throw final at the2025 World Athletics Championships in Tokyo, and placed ninth in the final.[7][8]
Henriksen was born inOslo on 14 September 1990.[5]
