Eel River Bar First Nation, orUgpi'ganjig, is aMiꞌkmaqFirst Nation located in NorthernNew Brunswick. It has aregistered population of 757 people, of which 346 live onreserve.[1] The total number of people living on the reserve is 415 as of 2016.[1]
Eel River Bar is situated on theBay of Chaleur at the mouth of the Eel River, in NorthernNew Brunswick. It is approximately 3 km fromDalhousie, and about 20 km fromCampbellton, the nearest city.Route 11 is the nearest highway, andRoute 134 is a secondary road running through the community.[2]
