Edward Robinson Lliteras[a] (born 25 March 2009) is a Spanish and Britishracing driver who last competed in theFormula Regional European Championship for G4 Racing.
Robinson previously competed withDrivex in theF4 Spanish Championship andEurocup-3.
Starting karting at the age of five,[1] Robinson won the Balearic Go-Karting Championship in both 2015 and 2016, before moving to theSpanish Karting Championship, which he would win in 2020 in the Mini category.[2]
In 2023, Robinson stepped up to car-racing, competing in for R Racing theGinetta Junior Championship.[3] Robinson achieved his best result of the season at the final race atDonington Park, going from 12th to third to score his only podium in the series.[4]
In 2024, Robinson made his single-seater debut, racing for AS Motorsport in theItalian F4 Championship.[5] Racing for the Slovene team for the first five rounds of the season, Robinson scored a best result of 14th atPaul Ricard, before switching toUS Racing for the rest of the Italian andEuro 4 seasons.[6][7][8]
With the German team, Robinson scored his first points and rookie podium in F4 at the thirdRed Bull Ring race in Euro 4 by finishing seventh.[9] Robinson also scored his first rookie podium in Italian F4 after finishing fifth in the second race of the season-endingMonza round.[10]
After toppingItalian F4 post-season testing atImola andMisano,[11][12]US Racing announced that Robinson would drive for them in theFormula Winter Series andE4 Championships.[13]
In the first round of the season atAlgarve, Robinson scored his maiden podium in Formula 4 by finishing third in race one,[14] following it up with a second-place in race two behind teammateGabriel Gomez.[15] In race three Robinson qualified on pole but a bad start sent him down the order and could only muster an 11th place finish on track,[16] only to be promoted to 10th following Maxim Rehm's disqualification, leaving Algarve third in points behind Gomez and Leo Robinson.[17]
AtValencia, Robinson had a difficult weekend, with a DNF in race 1 due to an engine failure, in race 2 he managed to score points with a ninth place, and in race 3 Robinson started in the pitlane due to an engine failure again and having to pit during the race because of a mechanical flag, but he still managed to get 20th-place.[18] He did not compete in the final two rounds, finishing the season in 12th place with 38 points.
Robinson joinedDrivex for the2025 F4 Spanish Championship.[19]
In June, Robinson joinedG4 Racing to compete in theFormula Regional European Championship fromHungaroring onwards.[20] He earned his only points finish of the year at race 3 at Monza, where he finished in 13th, and finished 21st in the points standings.
