Edgewise is an hour-long televisionnews magazine program that aired on MSNBC from 1996 to 1997.[1] The show was hosted byJohn Hockenberry.[2]

The show aired on Saturday evenings. In one notable episode withDavid Brinkley, the journalist was critical of PresidentBill Clinton.[3] In July 1997, it was reported the show would be canceled.[4] It ran untilLabor Day of that year.[5][6][7]
