Mason Allen Adams (born February 23, 2000) is an Americanprofessional baseballpitcher in theChicago White Sox organization.

Adams attendedOkeechobee High School inOkeechobee, Florida and playedcollege baseball atFlorida SouthWestern State College andJacksonville University. He was selected by theChicago White Sox in the 13th round of the2022 MLB draft.[1]

Adams signed with the White Sox and made his professional debut with theArizona Complex League White Sox. He pitched 2023 with theKannapolis Cannon Ballers,Winston-Salem Dash andBirmingham Barons and started 2024 with Birmingham.[2]

Eric Michael Adler (born October 12, 2000) is an Americanprofessional baseballpitcher in theChicago White Sox organization.

Adler attendedRockledge High School inRockledge, Florida, and playedcollege baseball atWake Forest University. During the summer of 2021, he played in theCape Cod Baseball League for theBourne Braves.[3] He was selected by theChicago White Sox in the sixth round of the2022 Major League Baseball draft and signed with the team.[4]

Adler made his professional debut with theArizona League White Sox and also played with theKannapolis Cannon Ballers, appearing in six games between both teams. He split the 2023 season between Kannapolis and theWinston-Salem Dash; over 28 relief appearances for the season, Adler posted a 2-0 record with a 2.87 ERA and 42 strikeouts. He returned to Winston-Salem and was promoted to theBirmingham Barons in early May, with whom he ended the season.[5] Over forty relief apperances between the two teams, Adler went 3-2 with a 3.15 ERA and 52 strikeouts over forty innings.[6] After the season, he was selected to play in theArizona Fall League for theGlendale Desert Dogs.[7]

Juan Daniel Carela (born December 15, 2001) is a Dominicanprofessional baseballpitcher for theChicago White Sox ofMajor League Baseball (MLB).

Carela signed with theNew York Yankees as an international free agent on July 2, 2018. He split 2019 between theDominican Summer League Yankees and rookie-levelGulf Coast League Yankees, struggling to an 0-8 record and 7.59 ERA over 12 games. Carela did not play in a game in 2020 due to the cancellation of the minor league season because of theCOVID-19 pandemic.[8]

Carela returned to action in 2021 with the rookie-levelFlorida Complex League Yankees and Single-ATampa Tarpons. In 12 games (11 starts) split between the two affiliates, he accumulated a 2-2 record and 6.38 ERA with 49 strikeouts across42+13 innings of work.[9] Carela split 2022 between Tampa and the High-AHudson Valley Renegades, accumulating an 8-6 record and 4.21 ERA with 131 strikeouts in 107 innings pitched across 23 games (21 starts).[10] Carela began the 2023 campaign with Hudson Valley, logging a 2-4 record and 3.67 ERA with 109 strikeouts across 17 appearances (16 starts).[11]

On August 1, 2023, the Yankees traded Carela to theChicago White Sox in exchange forKeynan Middleton.[12] He made 6 starts for the High-AWinston-Salem Dash down the stretch, posting a 1-3 record and 3.34 ERA with 27 strikeouts across32+13 innings pitched.

Carela split the 2024 campaign between Winston-Salem and the Double–ABirmingham Barons, compiling a 7–7 record and 3.71 ERA with 114 strikeouts across106+23 innings pitched over 23 starts. On November 19, 2024, the White Sox added Carela to their40-man roster to protect him from theRule 5 draft.[13]

On March 7, 2025, it was announced that Carela would miss the entirety of the 2025 season after undergoingTommy John surgery.[14]

Adisyn Matthew Coffey (born January 22, 1999) is an Americanprofessional baseballpitcher in theChicago White Sox organization.

Coffey attendedDelta High School inMuncie, Indiana, where he played on the baseball team.[15] He graduated in 2017 and enrolled atArizona State University to playcollege baseball.[16] He transferred after his freshman year toSan Jacinto College, and then transferred once again toWabash Valley College for the 2020 season.[17] Coffey was selected by theChicago White Sox in the third round of the2020 Major League Baseball draft.[18] He signed for $50,000.[19]

Coffey underwentTommy John surgery after signing with the White Sox, and thus did not make his professional debut until 2022 with theKannapolis Cannon Ballers.[20] He went 4-3 with a 5.23 ERA over 51 innings. He opened the 2023 season with theWinston-Salem Dash and was promoted to theBirmingham Barons in mid-July. Over forty relief appearances between the two teams, Coffey went 1-2 with a 4.82 ERA and 53 strikeouts. He was selected to play in theArizona Fall League for theGlendale Desert Dogs after the season.[21]

Coffey opened the 2024 season with Birmingham and was promoted to theCharlotte Knights in late May. While playing for Charlotte on June 16, 2024, Coffey was part of a seven–pitcherno-hitter against theDurham Bulls.[22] Over fifty relief appearances between Birmingham and Charlotte, Coffey went 5-2 with a 1.55 ERA and 55 strikeouts over52+13 innings.[23]

Andrew R. Dalquist (born November 13, 2000) is an Americanprofessional baseballpitcher in theChicago White Sox organization.

Dalquist was born and grew up inRedondo Beach, California, and attendedRedondo Union High School. As a senior, he went 9–0 with a 1.78 ERA and 103 strikeouts.[24] Dalquist had committed to play college baseball at theUniversity of Arizona prior to being drafted.[25]

Dalquist was selected in the 3rd round of the2019 MLB draft by the Chicago White Sox.[26] After signing with the team, he was assigned to theArizona League White Sox where he made three one-inning appearances, all of which were scoreless.[27][28] After the 2020 minor league season was canceled due to COVID-19, Dalquist was added to the White Sox's alternate training site midway through the Major League season.[29][30]

Dalquist was assigned to theLow-AKannapolis Cannon Ballers for the 2021 season.[31] Over 23 starts, he went 3–9 with a 4.99 ERA and 79 strikeouts over 83 innings.[32]

Caleb Aron Freeman (born February 23, 1998) is an Americanprofessional baseballpitcher in theChicago White Sox organization.

Freeman attendedCooper High School inAbilene, Texas. He playedcollege baseball for theTexas Tech Red Raiders, and in 2018 he playedcollegiate summer baseball for theHarwich Mariners of theCape Cod Baseball League.[33][34] A relief pitcher throughout his three seasons for the Red Raiders, he ended his junior year in 2019 2–0 with a 6.89 ERA over15+23 innings. After the season, he was selected by the Chicago White Sox in the 15th round of the2019 Major League Baseball draft.[35][36] He signed for $25,000.[37]

Freeman spent his professional season in 2019 with theRookie-levelArizona League White Sox, theGreat Falls Voyagers of theRookie AdvancedPioneer League, and theKannapolis Intimidators of theClass ASouth Atlantic League, going 4–2 with a 2.19 ERA and 38 strikeouts over24+23 innings. He did not play a minor league game in 2020 due to the cancellation of the minor league season.[38] For the 2021 season, he split the year between theWinston-Salem Dash of theHigh-A East and theBirmingham Barons of theDouble-A South with whom he made 39 relief appearances and went 2–3 with a 3.27 ERA and 55 strikeouts over 44 innings.[39] He was selected to play in theArizona Fall League for theGlendale Desert Dogs where he was named to the Fall Stars game.[40] He opened the 2022 season back with Birmingham, but missed nearly three months due to injury.[41] Over14+13 innings pitched with Birmingham, he posted an 8.79 ERA with 14 walks and 15 strikeouts.[42] He returned to Birmingham to open the 2023 season.[43]

Wikelman David González (born March 25, 2002) is a Venezuelanprofessional baseballpitcher for theChicago White Sox ofMajor League Baseball (MLB).

González signed with theBoston Red Sox as an international free agent on July 2, 2018.[44] He made his professional debut in 2019 with theDominican Summer League Red Sox.

González did not play in a game in 2020 due to the cancellation of theminor league season because of theCOVID-19 pandemic.[45] He returned to action in 2021 to play for the rookie-levelFlorida Complex League Red Sox andSalem Red Sox. He spent the 2022 season with Salem and theGreenville Drive, then started the 2023 season with Greenville before his promotion to thePortland Sea Dogs.[46][47][48] González was recognized as the Red Sox' minor-league pitcher of the year for 2023.[49]

On November 14, 2023, the Red Sox added González to their40-man roster to protect him from theRule 5 draft. He began the 2024 season with Double-A Portland, ranked as the Red Sox' number seven minor-league prospect byBaseball America.[50]

On December 11, 2024, González, along withBraden Montgomery,Chase Meidroth andKyle Teel, was traded to theChicago White Sox in exchange forGarrett Crochet.[51] González was optioned to the Double-ABirmingham Barons to begin the 2025 season.[52]

Gowens attendedLibertyville High School inLibertyville, Illinois, and theUniversity of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He playedcollege baseball for theIllinois Fighting Illini. TheAtlanta Braves selected him in the ninth round of the2023 MLB draft.[53]

On November 16, 2023, the Braves traded Gowens,Michael Soroka,Jared Shuster,Nicky Lopez, andBraden Shewmake to theChicago White Sox forAaron Bummer.[54]

Anthony David Maui La'akea Hoopii-Tuionetoa (born August 11, 2000) is an Americanprofessional baseballpitcher in theChicago White Sox organization.

Hoopii-Tuionetoa graduated fromHenry Perrine Baldwin High School in 2018. He attendedPierce College.[55]

TheTexas Rangers selected Hoopii-Tuionetoa in the 30th round of the2019 MLB draft.[56] After the 2023 season, Hoopii-Tuionetoa pitched for theSurprise Saguaros of theArizona Fall League.[57][58] On May 8, 2024, the Rangers traded Hoopii-Tuionetoa to theChicago White Sox forRobbie Grossman.[59]

Weston Douglas Kath (born August 3, 2002) is an Americanprofessional baseballthird baseman in theChicago White Sox organization.

Kath attendedDesert Mountain High School inScottsdale, Arizona.[60] He committed to playcollege baseball atArizona State University.[61][62] He played in both the Area Code Games and the World Wood Bat Association World Championship in 2020.[63] In 2021, as a senior, he helped lead Desert Mountain to a 5A State Championship title.[64] He was subsequently named the Arizona Gatorade High School Baseball Player of the Year after batting .486 with 11 home runs, 29 RBIs, and 34 runs scored.[65]

Kath was selected by the Chicago White Sox in the second round with the 57th overall selection of the2021 Major League Baseball draft.[66] He signed for $1.8 million.[67] He made his professional debut with theRookie-levelArizona Complex League White Sox.[68] Over 104at-bats in 28 games, he slashed .212/.287/.337 with three home runs and 15 RBIs.[69] He was assigned to theKannapolis Cannon Ballers of theSingle-ACarolina League to begin the 2022 season.[70] In mid-August, he was promoted to theBirmingham Barons of theDouble-ASouthern League.[71] Over 112 games between the two teams, Kath batted .230 with 13 home runs, 45 RBIs, and 21 doubles.[72] For the 2023 season, he was assigned to theWinston-Salem Dash of theHigh-ASouth Atlantic League.[73] Over 95 games, he hit .193 with eight home runs and 31 RBIs.[74] Kath returned to Winston-Salem for the 2024 season, batting .226 with 16 home runs and 58 RBIs over 116 games.[75]

Trey Scott McGough (born March 29, 1998) is an Americanprofessional baseballpitcher in theChicago White Sox organization.

McGough attendedFerndale Area Junior/Senior High School and playedcollege baseball atMount St. Mary's University. He was selected by thePittsburgh Pirates in the 24th round of the2019 Major League Baseball draft.[76]

McGough signed with the Pirates and made his professional debut with theBristol Pirates before he was promoted to theWest Virginia Black Bears.[77] Over 18 relief appearances between the two teams, he went 3–1 with a 3.86 ERA over32+23 innings. McGough did not play a game in 2020 due to the cancellation of the minor league season because of theCOVID-19 pandemic.[78] He opened the 2021 season with theGreensboro Grasshoppers and was promoted to theAltoona Curve in early June.[79] He appeared in 24 games (19 starts) for the year, going 6–5 with a 3.19 ERA and 90 strikeouts over 130 innings.[80] He was assigned to theIndianapolis Indians to begin the 2022 season, but pitched only17+23 innings due to injury.[81][82]

On December 7, 2022, McGough was claimed by theBaltimore Orioles in the minor league phase of theRule 5 draft.[83] For the 2023 season, he pitched20+23 innings and had a 3.05 ERA. After the season, he was selected to play in theArizona Fall League for theMesa Solar Sox.[84]

In 2024, McGough made 28 appearances split between the Double–ABowie Baysox and Triple–ANorfolk Tides, compiling a 1.99 ERA with 55 strikeouts across54+13 innings pitched.[85]

On July 30, 2024, the Orioles traded McGough to theChicago White Sox in exchange forEloy Jiménez and cash considerations.[86]

Chase Gregory Meidroth (born July 23, 2001) is an Americanprofessional baseballsecond baseman in theChicago White Sox organization.

Meidroth attendedMira Costa High School inManhattan Beach, California, and playedcollege baseball for theSan Diego Toreros. In 2022, he playedcollegiate summer baseball with theYarmouth–Dennis Red Sox of theCape Cod Baseball League.[87] He was drafted by theBoston Red Sox in the fourth round of the2022 Major League Baseball draft.[88]

Meidroth spent his first professional season withFlorida Complex League Red Sox and theSalem Red Sox.[89] During 2022 minor-league play, he had a .316batting average with fourhome runs and 15RBI in 22 games.[89] In 2023, Meidroth played inHigh-A for theGreenville Drive and inDouble-A for thePortland Sea Dogs, posting a .271 average with nine home runs and 57 RBI in 111 total games.[89]

Entering the 2024 season, Meidroth was ranked as the Red Sox' number 13 minor league prospect byBaseball America.[50] He played in 122 games for the Triple–AWorcester Red Sox, slashing .293/.437/.401 with seven home runs, 57 RBI, and 13 stolen bases.

On December 11, 2024, Meidroth, along withBraden Montgomery,Wikelman González, andKyle Teel, was traded to theChicago White Sox in exchange forGarrett Crochet.[90]

Edgar Yoel Quero (born April 6, 2003) is a Cubanprofessional baseballcatcher in theChicago White Sox organization.

Quero signed with theLos Angeles Angels as an international free agent in February 2021 and received a $200,000 signing bonus.[91] He was assigned to theRookie-levelArizona Complex League Angels to begin his professional career and was later promoted to theLow-AInland Empire 66ers and batted .240 with five home runs for the 2021 season.[92] Quero returned to Inland Empire to begin the 2022 season. On June 13, Quero earned his first Prospect Team of the Week selection after going 7-for-18 (.389) with two home runs and eightruns batted in (RBI).[93] On July 18, he earned another selection after going 11-for-23 (.478) with one home run and three RBI.[94] On August 8, Quero earned his third selection to the weekly team after he went 10-for-25 (.400) with two home runs and eight RBI.[95] On August 17, Quero was ranked as the third-best prospect in the Angels farm system, behind organizational newcomersLogan O'Hoppe andZach Neto.[96]

On July 26, 2023, Quero andKy Bush were traded to the Chicago White Sox in exchange forLucas Giolito andReynaldo López.[97]

Jeral Pérez (born November 6, 2004) is a Dominicanprofessional baseballinfielder in theChicago White Sox organization.

On January 15, 2022, Pérez signed with theLos Angeles Dodgers organization as an international free agent.[98] He made his professional debut with theDominican Summer League Dodgers, hitting .278/.371/.500 with eight home runs and 28 RBI across 48 games.[99]

Pérez spent the majority of the 2023 campaign with the rookie–levelArizona Complex League Dodgers, also appearing in seven games for the Single–ARancho Cucamonga Quakes. In 53 games for the ACL Dodgers, he slashed .257/.389/.503 with a league–leading 11 home runs, 41 RBI, and nine stolen bases.[100]

During the 2023-24 offseason, Pérez made minor mechanical changes in his batting stance, which included standing closer to the plate.[101] Returning to Rancho Cucamonga, he hit eight home runs and posted an .825 OPS in his first 244 at–bats, a performance which earned him an invitation to the 2024All-Star Futures Game.[102]

On July 29, 2024, the Dodgers traded Pérez to theChicago White Sox as part of a three-team deal that also sent Alexander Albertus andMiguel Vargas to Chicago, sentTommy Edman,Michael Kopech, and Oliver Gonzalez to theLos Angeles Dodgers, and sentErick Fedde andTommy Pham to theSt. Louis Cardinals.[103]

Jordan Tyler Sprinkle (born March 6, 2001) is an Americanprofessional baseballshortstop in theChicago White Sox organization.

Sprinkle grew up inPalm Springs, California and attendedPalm Desert High School.[104]

Sprinkle playedcollege baseball for theUC Santa Barbara Gauchos for three seasons. He played in three games and went hitless in two at-bats during his true freshman season before it was cut short due to thecoronavirus pandemic.[105] Sprinkle was named theBig West Conference Co-Freshmen Field Player of the Year as a redshirt freshman after batting .353 with 18 doubles, seven home runs, and 32 RBIs and led the conference with 26 stolen bases.[106] He was named second team All-Big West after hitting .285 with 32 RBIs, 44 runs scored, and 25 stolen bases.[107] Following the end of the season he entered the NCAA transfer portal and committed to play at Arkansas.[108]

Sprinkle was selected in the fourth round of the2022 MLB draft by theChicago White Sox.[109] He signed with the team on July 27, 2022, and received a $452,900 signing bonus.[110]

Terrell Emmanuel Tatum (born July 27, 1999) is an Americanprofessional baseballoutfielder in theChicago White Sox organization.

Tatum attendedHouston High School inGermantown, Tennessee and playedcollege baseball atNC State University. He was drafted by theChicago White Sox in the 16th round of the2021 Major League Baseball Draft.[111] He signed with the White Sox and spent his first professional season with theArizona Complex League White Sox andWinston-Salem Dash.

Tatum played 2022 with theKannapolis Intimidators and Winston-Salem.[112] After the season, he played in theArizona Fall League. Tatum started 2023 with Winston-Salem before being promoted to theBirmingham Barons.

Michael Vasil (born March 19, 2000) is an American professionalbaseballpitcher for theChicago White Sox ofMajor League Baseball (MLB).

Vasil attendedBoston College High School inBoston, Massachusetts.[113] He was expected to be a high draft pick in the2018 Major League Baseball Draft but withdrew his name from the draft and opted to playcollege baseball at theUniversity of Virginia.[114][115][116] In 2019, he playedcollegiate summer baseball with theOrleans Firebirds of theCape Cod Baseball League.[117] After three years at Virginia, Vasil was drafted by theNew York Mets in the eighth round of the2021 Major League Baseball draft.[118]

Vasil made his professional debut in 2021 with the rookie-levelFlorida Complex League Mets, posting a 1.29 ERA and 10 strikeouts over 3 starts. He started 2022 with the Single-ASt. Lucie Mets before being promoted to the High-ABrooklyn Cyclones, also appearing with the FCL Mets. In 18 games (17 starts) for the three affiliates, Vasil accumulated a 4-2 record and 3.53 ERA with 85 strikeouts across71+13 innings pitched.[119]

Vasil split 2023 between the Double-ABinghamton Rumble Ponies and Triple-ASyracuse Mets. In 26 starts split between the two affiliates, he compiled a 5-6 record and 4.65 ERA with 138 strikeouts across 124 innings pitched.[120] Vasil spent the 2024 campaign with Syracuse, making 29 appearances (27 starts) and struggling to an 8-10 record and 6.04 ERA with 109 strikeouts over 134 innings of work.[121]

On December 11, 2024, Vasil was selected by thePhiladelphia Phillies 14th overall in theRule 5 draft.[122] The same day, the Phillies traded him to theTampa Bay Rays in exchange for cash or aplayer to be named later.[123] On March 23, 2025, Vasil was claimed off waivers by theChicago White Sox.[124]

Wolkow attendedDowners Grove North High School inDowners Grove, Illinois. He was selected by theChicago White Sox in the seventh round of the2023 Major League Baseball Draft.[125][126] He signed with the White Sox and made his professional debut with theArizona Complex League White Sox.[127]

Wolkow started 2024 with the ACL White Sox before being promoted to theKannapolis Cannon Ballers.[128][129][130]

Samuel Elias Zavala (born July 15, 2004) is a Venezuelanprofessional baseballoutfielder in theChicago White Sox organization.

Zavala signed with theSan Diego Padres as an international free agent in January 2021.[131] He made his professional debut that year with theDominican Summer League Padres.

Zavala played 2022 with theArizona Complex League Padres andLake Elsinore Storm.[132][133] He started 2023 with Lake Elsinore.

On March 13, 2024, the Padres traded Zavala,Steven Wilson,Drew Thorpe, andJairo Iriarte to theChicago White Sox in exchange forDylan Cease.[134]
