Edward Francis McGinley Jr. (August 9, 1899 – April 16, 1985) was anAmerican football player and coach. He playedcollege football as atackle at theUniversity of Pennsylvania and professionally for one season, in 1925, with theNew York Giants of theNational Football League (NFL). McGinley also served as the head football coach at Saint Joseph's College—now known asSaint Joseph's University—inPhiladelphia in 1925.[1] He was inducted into theCollege Football Hall of Fame as a player in 1979.
