Echinaria is agenus ofEurasian andNorth African plants in thegrass family.[2][3][4] The only known species isEchinaria capitata, native to theMediterranean Region as well as theSouthwest andCentral Asia (fromPortugal andMorocco toKazakhstan).[1][5][6][7][8][9][10][11][12]
