TheEastern Lower Carniolan subdialect (vzhodnodolenjski govor,[1]vzhodna dolenjščina,[2]vzhodnodolenjsko podnarečje[3]) is aSlovene subdialect in theLower Carniolan dialect group. It is spoken south of theLower Sava Valley dialect in the watersheds of theMirna andTemenica rivers, east of a line running from west ofTrebnje and west ofNovo Mesto to the lowerKrka Valley. The dialect includes the settlements ofKostanjevica na Krki,Krmelj,Mirna,Mokronog,Novo Mesto,Raka,Šentjernej,Šentrupert,Škocjan andTrebnje.[1][3][4]
The Eastern Lower Carniolan subdialect has apitch accent.[4]
