TheEast Peninsula is one of the four principal peninsulas on the island ofSulawesi, Indonesia.[1] It is part of the province ofCentral Sulawesi.
It stretches east from the central part of the island, forming the southern boundary of theGulf of Tomini and the northwestern boundary of theGulf of Tolo. The island ofPeleng lies off the peninsula's southern coast, while theSula Islands lie to the east.
