Dynatrace uses a proprietary form of artificial intelligence called Dynatrace Intelligence to discover, map, and monitor applications, microservices, container orchestration platforms such asKubernetes, and IT infrastructure running inmulticloud,hybrid-cloud, andhyperscale network environments.[6] The platform also provides automated problem remediation[7][8] and ITcarbon impact analysis.[9][10][11]

Platform components include infrastructure monitoring, applications and microservices monitoring, application security, digital experience, business observability, AI observability, and cloud automation.[12][13][14]

  • OneAgent: Automated data collection
  • SmartScape: Continuously updated topology mapping
  • PurePath: Code-level distributed tracing
  • AppEngine: Low-code app development for observability/security/business data
  • AutomationEngine: AutomatedDevOps workflows
  • Grail data lakehouse: Indexless, schema-on-read storage for analytics with DQL query language[15][16][17][18][19]
  • Dynatrace Intelligence: Causal AI, predictive analytics, generative AI for root-cause analysis and AI observability[20]predictive analytics, andgenerative AI.[21][22][23]

The platform includes the Dynatrace Hub for publishing specific observability applications and integrations with more than 800 technologies includingAWS,Docker,Java, andPrometheus.

Dynatrace provides multicloud observability to bothSaaS and managed service deployment models, in partnership with service providers includingAmazon Web Services,Microsoft Azure, andGoogle Cloud Platform.[24]
