Dylan Menzie is a Canadian singer-songwriter fromBelle River,Prince Edward Island.[1]
Menzie released his debut EP,Heather Avenue, in 2013.[2] In 2016, he was a finalist inCBC Radio 2's Searchlight competition with his song "Kenya",[3] which reached No. 1 on the network's chart showThe Radio 2 Top 20.[4] He released the albumAdolescent Nature that year.[2] In 2017 he received twoEast Coast Music Award nominations, for Pop Album of the Year and Entertainer of the Year.[5]
In 2018 he was a competitor onCTV's music competition seriesThe Launch, but was not selected as a finalist.[6] Later the same year he releasedAs the Clock Rewinds, consisting primarily of new rerecordings of material fromAdolescent Nature.[7] He received aCanadian Folk Music Award nomination for Contemporary Singer of the Year at the14th Canadian Folk Music Awards.[8]
