Duwayne Oswald Ewart (born March 22, 1998) is a Canadiansoccer player who last played forProStars FC inLeague1 Ontario.[1]

Career

Youth

Ewart played youth soccer in Scarborough, before moving on to theVancouver Whitecaps FC Academy.[2] He later moved on toVaughan SC, spending some time with theirsenior team inLeague1 Ontario club in 2015, where he scored a goal againstSigma FC.[3]

Pittsburgh Riverhounds

Ewart signed a professional contract withUnited Soccer League sidePittsburgh Riverhounds on March 27, 2016.[4] Ewart made his professional debut on May 21, 2016 in a 2–1 victory overToronto FC II.[5]

International career

He was named to the U15 national team for the2013 Copa de México de Naciones.[6]

Ewart played for theCanadian U-17 team at the2015 CONCACAF U-17 Championship, where he was the team's top goalscorer.[2]

In August 2016, Ewart was called up to the U-20 team for a pair of friendlies againstCosta Rica[7]

He also qualifies to play forJamaica as his father was born inClarendon and his mother inKingston.[8]
