Duttlenheim (French pronunciation:[dytlənajm];[3]German:Düttelnheim;Alsatian:Dìttle) is acommune in theBas-Rhindepartment inGrand Est in north-easternFrance.[4] It is located about 20 kilometres (12 mi) southwest ofStrasbourg, and approximately 20 km from theGerman border.

Arsène Wenger, former long-time manager ofArsenal F.C., grew up here. His parents ran thebistroLa croix d'or, where he would spend hours studying the behaviour of the football-loving customers.[5]
