Dunstanetta johnstoneorum is agenus andspecies ofextinctduck from theMiocene of New Zealand. It wasdescribed fromfossil material (a distal lefthumerus) collected from aSaint Bathans Fauna site on Home Hills Station, in the lower Bannockburn Formation of theManuherikia Group, in theManuherikia River valley in theCentral Otago region of theSouth Island. The genus name refers to the Dunstan Range, the mountains of which overlook the fossil site. The specificepithet honours Ann and Euan Johnstone of Home Hills Station.[1]
