Dumbarton East railway station serves the town ofDumbarton in theWest Dunbartonshire region ofScotland. Thestation is managed byScotRail and is served by trains on theNorth Clyde Line, 15 miles (24 km) west ofGlasgow Queen Street.
Unlike the majority of the North Clyde line stations, this is anisland platform, betraying itsLanarkshire and Dunbartonshire Railway origins.
