Dublin West is aparliamentary constituency represented inDáil Éireann, the lower house of the Irish parliament orOireachtas. The constituency elects five deputies (Teachtaí Dála, commonly known as TDs) on the system ofproportional representation by means of thesingle transferable vote (PR-STV).
The constituency includes Mulhuddart,Corduff,Blanchardstown, Castleknock, Carpenterstown, Barberstown,Clonsilla andOngar. The portion in Dublin City includesDublin Zoo andÁras an Uachtaráin, the official residence of thePresident of Ireland, and the suburb ofAshtown. TheElectoral (Amendment) Act 2023 defines the constituency as:[1][2]

- Blanchardstown-Abbotstown, Blanchardstown-Blakestown, Blanchardstown-Coolmine, Blanchardstown-Corduff, Blanchardstown-Delwood, Blanchardstown-Mulhuddart, Blanchardstown-Roselawn, Blanchardstown-Tyrrelstown, Castleknock-Knockmaroon, Castleknock-Park, Lucan North, The Ward;
